5 smoothie bowls with Latin flavors and local ingredients

Good Morning world!

If you aren’t yet aware of the smoothie bowl trend, let me enlighten you! Smoothie bowls started with the super fruit locally found in Brazil, called açaí (ah-sigh-ee). The açaí berry has multiple health benefits and delicious tropical taste that has everybody buzzing. When frozen and blended, it has an ice cream like texture that will satisfy you for hours.

Although açaí has become accessible though out the world, it can be slightly expensive seeing it is only found in its native country. Luckily, there are multiple types of smoothie bowls recipes, with an array of nutritional benefits – no açaí needed.

Today I’m going to share my top five smoothie bowl recipes with ingredients you can find at your local market.

If you have a sweet tooth like me, you will love the naturally sweet flavors these smoothies will bring into your life (and your body will love all the health benefits of these fruits and veggies!)
