A Boozy Brunch

Ever since we were young, our parents would tell us that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  But what about Brunch? So where did the idea of Brunch come from? The idea emerged in England in the late 19th century. Brunch is just in between breakfast and Lunch, a great time to drink a little alcohol, a boozy brunch on a Sunday morning. So next time you are planning on hosting a Sunday brunch with your friends and family, try some of these refreshing cocktails! Here are the top 5 easy cocktails that I love to make for my Sunday brunch!


Bloody Mary:

  • 2 Oz Vodka
  • 4 Oz. Tomato Juice
  • 3 Dashes of Tabasco Sauce 
  • 2 tsp. creamy horseradish
  • 3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1 pinch of celery salt, ground pepper, and paprika
  • 1 lemon and line wedge
Mix all together and top with Garnish of choice!






Tip: Best to drink when you are hungover, it really helps





Classic Mint Julep:

  • 4 to 6 mint leaves
  • 1.5 tsp powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp water 
  • fill glass with ice
  • 2.5 oz Burbon



Tip: Use a strong bourbon





Classic Mimosas:




  • 0.5 cup Champagne
  • 0.5 cup orange Juice 




Tip: Keep champagne and Orange Juice chilled before mixing!










Irish Coffee:




  • 1 Cup hot Coffee
  • 2 1/4 oz of Irish cream Liqueur
  • 1/4 Cup of Whipped cream on top
  • Garnish with cinnamon



Tip: Use only Irish whiskey!









Blood orange Screwdrivers:



  • 3 squeezed blood oranges
  • 2 oz orange juice
  • 2 oz vodka 
  • Ice 







Tip: best of blood orange and orange is fresh squeezed!
